Daily Visits are offered every weekday throughout the year and include a personal admissions information session followed by a student-led campus tour. We offer two versions of our daily campus tour:
Morning Tour: 1.5 hours showcasing the main academic campus.
Afternoon Tour: 2 hours showcasing both academic and athletic facilities.
Mountaineer Visits are designed specifically for students and families beginning the college search, these group sessions include a presentation with information about academic programs, student life, athletics, admissions, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities, followed by a campus tour, and cook-out lunch with members of the Mount community.
Fall Mountaineer Visit day is October 8, 2018, we have morning and an afternoon visit times available.
Open Houses are one of our big fall events, and serve as an opportunity to take an in-depth look at the Mount’s academic programs, admissions and financial aid information, and various organizations on campus with a lot of other students just like you. At the event we offer student-led campus tours followed by lunch in Patriot Dining Hall.
Open House Events in the fall on held on September 29, 2018 and November 10, 2018.
One of the most popular visit types for high school seniors is our Sunday to Monday Overnight Experience. Students are hosted by current Mount freshmen and attend first-year Core Curriculum classes during the day on Monday. Host and student match ups are made based on gender and availability of hosts. On Monday, parents will hear presentations from different departments on campus including admissions, financial aid, academics, career center, public safety, residence life, center for student diversity, social justice, campus activities, and campus ministry.
There are several Overnight Experience events in the fall, and they are open to all high school seniors.
