Spanish Major

The language classes you took in high school were just a taste, un sabor, if you will, of what a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish will be! Students within the program will not only become proficient in the language, but will also have the opportunity to travel abroad—to Costa Rica, Ecuador, or Spain! In addition to conversational Spanish classes, students can structure their course selections to learn more about Spanish-speaking countries around the world, as well as delve into Spanish literature the way it was intended to be read.

Outside of Spanish Classes

Outside of Class

Join Sigma Delta Pi, the National Spanish Honor Society, or Alpha Mu Gamma, the National Foreign Language Honor Society, both of which champion academic excellence in the learning of a new language. Alternatively, the Hispanic Cultural Association encourages participation in Spanish cultural activities, traditional and contemporary alike.
