Secondary Education Majors

Missing high school already? No worries, we can get you back there—well, sort of. The Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education-Social Studies is geared towards obtaining certification to teach grades 7-12. Students will learn to teach from instructors as passionate about education as they are. If Secondary Education is in your future, get ready to hit the books!

On-campus support services are available through The Curriculum Resource Center, The Center for Instructional Technology, The Education Computer Lab, and The SMART Classroom.
The Career Center sponsors an active “education season” each spring with many employers. Representatives from local counties and school systems visit campus to interview seniors looking for jobs.
