French Major

If the Eiffel Tower, croissants, or Brie cheese is your raison d’être, look no further. Students of the Bachelor of Arts in French will not only become proficient in the language, but will also have the opportunity to travel abroad—right in Tours. In addition to conversational French classes, students can structure their course selections to learn more about French-speaking countries around the world, as well as explore French literature courses.

Join Pi Delta Phi, the National French Honor Society, or apply for membership with Alpha Mu Gamma, the National Foreign Language Honor Society. Both groups champion academic excellence and celebrate French language and culture. Furthermore, Le Club Francais will introduce you to culturally likeminded individuals through trips to the French ballet, French films, and more.
