Extend your learning beyond the classroom with various opportunities, including independent study research and presentations at national meetings; the Clare Booth Luce (CBL) Scholarship Program; the Women in STEM (WSTEM) Leadership Scholarship; Pre-Health Professions Club; an on-campus internship, or internship at a hospital, doctor’s office, research lab, or business; career and peer mentoring; the WSTEM Mentoring Program, pairing women in STEM majors with established professionals in the field; American Chemical Society (ACS) Student Chapter; and Gamma Sigma Epsilon (honors society).

Career Crossing

The Career Center offers opportunities for science majors to explore a future in their chosen fields, including STEM resume workshops (STEM Resumania), career assessment and testing, career fairs, and on-campus recruiting.
A STEM specialized career fair each year allows students to interview for jobs and internships with top companies, such as NIH and Astra Zeneca.
